Lori VanderBilt MS, Transitions Coach, ACC
Hosted by ICF Washington State
Description of Course
In this experiential workshop, we will look at how “somatic noticing” helps us become more attuned coaches as we develop our skills in the core competencies. We will use the forms of InterPlay, which involves movement, storytelling, and voice to unlock the wisdom of the body. In addition to being accessible and fun, this active and creative approach offers eight practical body wisdom tools that are beneficial to both coaches and clients. You will tap into your own body wisdom as well as discover how to help your clients uncover new ways of knowing.
Lori VanderBilt is a Transitions Coach who draws on the wisdom of the body, mind, and spirit in her work. She brings the experience and observation of 20 years as a Marriage and Family Therapist into her coaching practice. She finished her SeattleCoach training in June 2017.
As a coach, she uses powerful conversation, a strength-based approach, and tools of self-reflection. As a Certified Leader in InterPlay, she brings experience with teaching body wisdom tools and improvisational skills. She has taught in the InterPlay Life Practice Program for Helping Professionals, a nine-month program in InterPlay tools, ideas, and practices.
